Watercolour Workshops — An Update from the Studio
For many years, Singapore watercolour artist Loy Chye Chuan conducted watercolour workshops and painting classes at his studio, sharing the techniques he developed over more than six decades of painting from life. Many of Singapore’s watercolour enthusiasts learned by his side in those sessions.
Mr Loy, now 86, no longer conducts watercolour workshops or group classes. He continues to paint daily at his Telok Kurau studio, and his focus today is on his lifetime collection of 300 original watercolours of old Singapore.
Visit the Studio Instead
While the workshops have ended, the studio remains open to collectors and admirers by private appointment. You can view original works from the collection in person — the Singapore River, the kampongs, old Chinatown, painted from life over 67 years — and often meet the artist himself.

Hi I am interested in watercolour class. I have some knowledge but like to improve in my techniques. May I know how much it cost and I can only make it only on mondays.
Thanks
Hi Angela,
Thank you for your interest. However, Mr Loy has stopped conducting lessons. Thank you.
